Error 0xA00F4244 on Lenovo ThinkPad Camera
Issue
The laptop's integrated camera is not detected. The Camera app shows the error: "We can't find your camera" with code 0xA00F4244<NoCamerasAreAttached>. The camera is missing from Windows Device Manager.

Cause
Standard fixes fail because the problem is a system-level failure caused by:
Outdated or corrupted BIOS/UEFI firmware.
A missing or incompatible camera firmware.
A broken camera device driver.
All three components from the manufacturer must be reinstalled.
Solution
Perform a complete, official firmware and driver reinstall.
1. Download from Lenovo.
Go to the official Lenovo Support page for your ThinkPad L15 Gen 4. Find and download these three items:
BIOS/UEFI Firmware Update
Integrated Camera Firmware Update
Integrated Camera Driver
2. Install (In This Exact Order)
First: Install the BIOS Update. Do not interrupt power. The laptop will restart.
Second: After reboot, install the Camera Firmware Update. Restart if prompted.
Third: Install the Camera Driver. Restart your laptop.
Go to Device Manager and run Scan for hardware changes.
3. Verify
Open the Windows Camera app. The error should be gone, and the camera should work.
Key Point
For hardware like the camera, always use official Lenovo drivers.
